Meditation

This illustration was created for Affinity by Serif’s 100 commissions in 100 days project. The artwork was selected to be within the top 100 out for 2000 applicants. This design is licensed commercially by Serif for marketing Affinity Designer.

The initial idea was inspired by my mum’s cat having kittens. The goal was to represent the juxtaposition of playfulness and high-energy of these cats, to the peace and quiet of meditation. I wanted to have these elements co-exist and balance them within the same space.
